Welcome to aiSpot aiSpot is a professional application that greatly expands your mobile phone’s GPS capabilities. Once turned on, aiSpot constantly monitors the available GPS Satellites and updates 13 essential parameters of your trip. The aiSpot’s intuitive, easy to use interface allows you to view your current trip details as you go, record your trips for later viewing , or export it into a GPS or KML file so the file can be uploaded to another GPS Navigator device or a PC application. aiSpot also lets you easily save the coordinates of any waypoint, view saved waypoints or export them into a GPS file. Registration Process You can use a fully functional trial version of aiSpot for 6 days. After that, you must register your copy of aiSpot.  (Please use the purchasing e-mail and the activation code that you received upon the purchase.) To register, open the popup menu on aiSpot's Main Screen, select Register to open the Register aiSpot screen, enter the e-mail and the activation code. aiSpot features.

1. Saving locations and tracking direction and distance to the target location. You can save location points by several different manners. First is a capturing current location by two clicks. Second is a picking point on the Blackberry Maps. Third is a manual coordinates input. And fourth, is import way-points from other software in GPX file format. Any saved point can be selected as a target for the aiSpot compass that will show distance and direction to the target. Moreover aiSpot compass shows your current coordinates, movement direction azimuth and direction of the cardinal points.

2. GPS Speedometer and trip computer. aiSpot has large pointer speedometer graded with mi/h, km/h or knots. Speedometer shows current, average and maximal speed, distance and trip duration. “Speed Limit” feature allows you set up customizable sound alarm.

aiSpot ver. 2.2 has absolutely new and unique compass screen. This is fully customizable dashboard can display simultaneously 6 parameters of your trip. Compass has obtained the new detailed and accurate gage dial. You can set one of five colors for the compass and for the display and one of twelve trip parameters for each of the five dashboard's slots. There are total 1,658,880 available combinations.

To tune compass dashboard just select the "Settings" in the compass screen menu.

3. Recording GPS track. aiSpot provides easy way to recording tracks of your trips. You can select one of four tracking types: walking trip, bicycle trip, car trip or long journey to adjust recording density. Track log is saved into handheld's persistent memory and is available immediately after recording start. You can inspect and analyze tracks straight on your handheld using three view screens: aerial view, Blackberry Maps overlay and speed/altitude profile. Also you can export your  tracks to handheld’s SD card in GPX or KML format for using with Google Earth and other navigation programs and devices or for publishing and sharing on the web.

aiSpot is recommended for outdoor use only. Autonomous GPS requires a clear view of the sky. Time To First Fix ("scanning satellites") can be affected by cloud cover and/or urban canyons. You can select Assisted GPS mode in the aiSpot settings if this one is supported by your carrier. First fix with assisted mode usually is quicker.

Also keep in mind that Blackberry devices don't have magnetometer. You must move your location to cause the GPS-based compass to detect azimuth.
